On the 9th of November, the Colleagues visited the Buchannan Army Base located in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. There they met MSG Jimmy Silva for a time of worship at the chapel. MSG Silva has a congregation of local civilians and a few servicemen who meet regularly to worship and fellowship.

The team led worship, and they shared in testimonies and the word. Buchanan base is the biggest army base in the island, with its own shopping mall, recreation and living area, as well as a golf course, and other amenities. It feels like a city within a city, however. It is a fascinating place to visit, and hear the stories of the men of valor of daily give of themselves to serve and protect. Soldiers serve as role models of what a servant leader is and how he/she should behave; with humility, compassion, efficiency, and courage.
