On November 26-27, 2012, the Abante International students were invited to the Universidad Teologica Del Caribe for a first-hand experience of student life at the campus. The Universidad Teologica Del Caribe was founded in 1956, and has provided training for thousands of local and international ministers in their chosen profession.
The Abante International colleagues were given the privilege to share dinner with the school’s President, Francisco Ortiz on Monday night, followed by an overnight evening spent in the school’s dormitory area.
Tuesday, the Abante International colleagues were able to experience the life of student’s on the Universidad Teologica Del Caribe campus by spending the day going to classes and touring the school. The colleagues were given a personal tour of the campus by the school’s admissions director and learned more about the school’s history, facilities and student life.
The Abante colleagues also participated in the school’s daily chapel service by leading worship, sharing personal testimonies and delivering a sermon for the students and faculty on campus. The students also sat in on a Greek class, where they attempted to understand the foundations of the language as it relates to the Bible.
The Abante International team is so grateful to the Universidad Teologica Del Caribe for the opportunity to visit the campus and experience the incredible work they are doing for the ministry profession.
