With God’s favor, Abante International has begun their fourth cycle with a wonderful group of world changers. Their ‘Launch Sunday’ was filled with high expectations, excitement, and perhaps even some anxiety from parents dropping off their sons and daughters for their nine month journey.
The service at Abante International’s home church, Lawrenceville Church of God, was made all the more special with the presence of several alumni, who stopped by to meet and mentor their new colleagues.
This year’s colleague’s journey will take them to over eight different countries spanning five languages, three continents and a variety of cultures. The public is encouraged to follow their journey, engage with the colleagues and be a part of their global mission!
Abante International thanks Lawrenceville Church of God and their pastoral staff, North Georgia Church of God State Executive Offices, and the Abante International advisory board for making the Launch Sunday a great success!nd Julian Schlottmann traveled to nine countries, where they engaged communities through social projects and initiatives, as well as serving local churches, ministries, and social organizations through inspirational and instructional workshops, and hands-on ministry participation.
The team was instrumental in working with several church plants with their talents and organizational skills, and they engaged the cultural diversity of those they interacted with on a daily basis, positively influencing culture.
We are proud of our colleagues and their accomplishments in advancing the kingdom, but most of all, we are proud of their individual growth and achievement of goals set out at the beginning of their journey. Max Depree once said, “We cannot become what we want to be by remaining what we are.” Our 2014 colleagues demonstrate that their Abante experience was a catalyst to greater adventures yet to come.
